Gowanus

Hey hey! The other day we were passing by the Gowanus Canal and decided to take some pictures. The Gowanus Canal is a Superfund site located near where we live, but it used to be one of the most important waterways in New York City during the Industrial Era. Formerly called Lavender Lake due to the colors the paint factory would change the water, it’s now a constant dark green color, and it’s egg smell is gone as well. Government dollars are being put to good use! I digress… below are our outfits from that day, ENJOY!
